Tough matches are expected, as four strong teams fight a place in the final of the ongoing Somali Inter-State tournament, when the semifinals are played on Sunday and Monday.
Puntland secured their place in the semi-finals on Friday after 1-1 draw with South West. Puntland needed at least a draw to qualify for the semifinals, after South West, Gal-Mudug and Banadir already guaranteed their places.
On Sunday (27 December 2020), Gal-Mudug will welcome their neighbors Puntland, while Banadir hosts South West on Monday.
In the last edition of the event, Puntland lost to Jubbaland in the final. Banadir, who has been hosting the tournament since it was launched, has never won it, same for the other two semi-finalists.
The final match will be played on Wednesday 30 December 2020.
