One of Kevin-Prince Boateng’s quotes has been nominated for the 2020 football slogan of the year by the German Academy for Football Culture.
The Ghana attacker who was born in Germany is aside football known for having a big heart and speaking against ills not only associated with the sport but society as well.
He has seen his quote now shortlisted for an award alongside quotes of other athletes including Nils Petersen from SC Freiburg and two referees Manuel Gräfe and Deniz Aytekin.
Below is KP Boateng’s nominated quote for the 2020 football slogan of the year by the German Academy for Football Culture.
“The opportunity was there to show everyone that something like this is not accepted. Not in Germany. Not in the Bundesliga. Not in our association”.
The award has been scheduled to place on October 30th, 2020, with the ultimate winner set to be awarded a sum of 5,000 euros which will be used for a charitable course.
Meanwhile, KP Boateng has recently completed a move to AC Monza and will be playing in the Italian Serie B this season.
