The head coach for FC. St. Pauli, Timo Schultz is predicting bigger things for striker Daniel Kofi Kyereh following his explosive start to life at the club.
The German-Ghanaian joined FC St. Pauli this summer to give the team a squad boost as he ended his stay with SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
After playing just 2 games for his team in the German Bundesliga 2, Daniel Kofi Kyereh has managed to establish himself as one of the top players at the club.
Last Sunday, the lethal striker registered his name on the scoresheet to inspire FC. St. Pauli to a 4-2 win against Heidenheim at the Millerntor-Stadion.
Speaking in a post-match interview, his coach Timo Schultz has been full of praise for him and says more will come from the summer signing.
“That's why we brought him in. He's a reserved person who gives the group a lot. Not only on the pitch but also next to it. However, the first category was important over the past seven days.
“The goal, not everyone shoots like that. Kyereh has top facilities and his path is far from over”, the gaffer said.
Early days in the season, Daniel Kofi Kyereh already has 3 goals after featuring in 2 games in the German Bundesliga 2.
