Head coach of Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu says he is satisfied with his team’s performance despite losing to Dreams FC in matchday 22 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Still Believe lads inflicted a 2-0 defeat on the Phobians at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.
Goals from Ali Huzaf and Sylvester Simba’s strikes were enough for the Dawu based club to pick all three points at stake.
Despite admitting the results of the game is unfortunate he indicated he is not disappointed and has lauded his players.
At the post-match conference, he said, “Is quiet unfortunate that we have lost this game by two goals down, that’s my worry but is a game then we have to take it like that because there are three things in a game, either draw, win or lose but we have lost this game and we are going back home to correct our mistakes”
He continued that, “We were playing but quiet unfortunately we got red card during the second half and it affected our play so the transition and everything changed”
Asked if he is disappointed that the side conceded from the set-piece that actually brought about the red card, he said, “Yeah, but goal conceding the last goal was very bad but I’m not disappointed because the players did well. They played to satisfactory but it unfortunate we couldn’t convert the little chances we created” he said.
The Phobians are 4th on the table with 34 points after 22 matches.
