FC Cincinnati general manager elated with the signing of Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga

The general manager for FC Cincinnati, Gerard Nijkamp has noted that the club is elated with the signing of Ghanaian forward Isaac Atanga.

The MLS club on Wednesday afternoon announced that they have secured the services of the talented winger from Danish Superliga outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

Speaking on the latest acquisition, Gerard Nijkamp who is general manager for FC Cincinnati has shared that the player will provide a major squad boost for his side.

“We have been working to add a winger that provides a different playing profile than the players that are currently on our roster,” the FC Cincinnati General Manager said as quoted on the club’s official website.

Gerard Nijkamp added, “Isaac is a player that attacks the opponent with pace and will create goal-scoring opportunities by getting in behind the defense. We’re excited for Isaac to join our club and look forward to welcoming him to Cincinnati.”

Isaac Atanga, 20, has inked a three-year contract with FC Cincinnati that could be extended for two more years if he manages to impress.
