Ghana and PAOK defender, Baba Rahman believes lack of experience cost South Africa a place in next year's Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Bafana Bafana were held 1-1 by Ghana at the FNB Stadium, before losing 2-0 away in Sudan in their match day six encounter on Sunday.
The result saw Molefi Ntseki's side miss out on the Nations Cup to be hosted by Cameroon from January to February 2022.
"After we drew against South Africa in Johannesburg, I had it in mind that it would be difficult for them to win in Sudan,” he told FootballMadeInGhana .
"I have been there and I saw how they played. If you go to Sudan or when we went there, their football was not attractive.
"They just want to win the Sudanese so if you are not tough with a bit of experience then you will get beaten easily. I knew it would be tough for South Africa to get a draw over there."
