Hearts of Oak have condemned the behaviour of fans following their refusal to comply with Coronavirus (Covid-19) protocols during the team’s defeat to Great Olympics.
The Phobians last weekend played against their rivals in a matchday 12 encounter of the Ghana Premier League season.
In a game that ended 2-0 for Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak fans did not follow the Covdi-19 protocols and as a result, the club has been summoned before the GFA Disciplinary Committee.
Through a statement today, Hearts of Oak says they condemn the behaviour of their supporters.
“The management of Accra Hearts of Oak and its supporters leadership, the National Chapters Committee (NCC), wishes to express our absolute displeasure about the failure of some fans who thronged the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday, January 30, 2021, to witness the local derby between our club and Olympics to adhere strictly to the Covid-19 protocols,” part of the statement from Hearts of Oak read.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak says in the foregoing they will not hesitate to hand over any fan that is caught breaching the Covid-19 protocol to the authorities for punishment.
