Richie Laryea handed call-up to Canada national team

Toronto FC midfielder, Richie Laryea has been handed an invite to the camp of the Canada male senior national team in January 2021.

Born in Canada but of Ghanaian descent, the highly-rated youngster enjoyed a stellar campaign in the 2020 Major Soccer League (MLS) campaign.

Having attracted interest from a number of clubs, it now appears his stocks have equally increased in the Canada national team.

Richie Laryea has received a call-up to the national team and will link up with 27 other invited players for a camp next month.

The camp presented by Allstate will serve as a preparatory camp to provide the team with the chance to train ahead of qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament later in March.
