Ghanaian duo Abdul Mumin and Gideon Mensah featured for Vitoria Guimaraes in their 3-2 defeat to FC Porto in the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Tuesday.
Mumin and Mensah who played full throttle put up impressive diplays but it was not enough as they lost at the Estadio D. Afonso Henriques.
Diogo Felipe Rocha opened the scoring for the Black and Whites lads in the 7th minute but Porto levelled with three minutes to half-time courtesy Mehdi Taremi's strike.
Oscar Estupinan made it 2-1 for Vitoria Guimaraes in the 63rd minute, however, the lead lasted only two minutes with Mehdi Taremi bagging his brace to make it 2-2.
Luis Diaz scored the match-winner in the 80th minute to seal all three points for the visitors.
The result leaves Vitoria Guimaraes on the 5th position with 19 points after 11 games played thus far.
