Dutch-born Ghanaian right-back Jeremie Frimpong is being courted by AS Roma with the Italian outfit keen on a winter swoop for the Celtic defender.
Frimpong has been outstanding for the Scottish outfit in the ongoing campaign since he joined from Manchester City last summer.
According to La Gazzetta dello, the Italian side have set sight on the talented full-back and have opened talks with his side for his a possible acquisition this January with Celtic believed to be holding out for a transfer fee of 10 million euros for their prized asset.
The 28-year-old has featured 17 times for Celtic this season with a goal and double assists to his credit.
The Amsterdam-born budding full-back is still eligible to play for Ghana at the international stage despite featuring for the Netherlands U17, U19 and U20 national teams.
