Jamal Lowe scored Swansea's second goal in the 54th minute to put the Jacks firmly in control of the game.
Queens Park Rangers came close to scoring in the 69th minute but Tom Carroll's strike was blocked.
The win helped Swansea go above Bournemouth to second place on the standings.
