Head coach of Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu is confident about his sides chances of beating FC Nouadhibou in the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors face the Mauritanian giants today at their own backyard and Konadu is eyeing nothing but a win.
The game is the first leg of their preliminary stage qualifier of CAF elite competition with the winner over two legs advancing to the next stage.
Maxwell Konadu’s side are without a win this season after drawing their first two games against Eleven Wonders and Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League.
We have come over ourselves to clinch the three maximum points or even it is a draw but we are going for a win and that is the mentality we have today" he told Asempa FM.
"What Ghanaians should know is that we came here to win and if possible kill the game in before the second leg in Accra"
"So we will carry the game to them. We will not sit back but in the course of the game anything can happen" he added.
Asante Kotoko takes on FC Nouadhibou at 4pm GMT.
