Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu takes swipe at Medeama's Samuel Boadu

Head coach of Eleven Wonders Ignatius Osei Fosu has slammed Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu for wearing slippers during his side’s clash with Legon Cities in the Match Day three of the Ghana Premier League.

The Yellow and Mauve held Legon Cities to a 0-0 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night.

Boadu was spotted wearing slippers in the dugout which has become the talking point in the country.

However, Osei Fosu who was watched the game on TV didn’t seem impressed with Boadu’s appearance and has described his colleague dressing on the touchline as unprofessional and not good for the image of gaffers in the league.

“This is unprofessional. Not a good image for our job. A coach wearing slipper at the bench,” he tweeted.

Boadu in his post match presser after his side’s 2-1 loss to Dreams FC explained he picked an injury at training hence wearing the slipper.

Despite that, Ignatius believes the Medeama SC gaffer could have done better with his dressing, especially when the game was live on television.
