Hearts of Oak coach Edward Nii Odoom has indicated his displeasure at his outfit’s profligacy at goal following their defeat to Inter Allies.
The rainbow boys suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Capelli boys in matchday three of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Odoom who expressed displeasure about the results highlighted that his charges were wasteful in front of goal and is of the view that cost them the defeat.
According to him, the situation could have been different if they had converted their chances and has indicated they will go back to the drawing and correct their mistakes for subsequent games.
“I am even short of words to say…because I don’t know why we should lose this match. Look at the number of chances created. From the blast of the whistle, we had all the chances in the world to kill this game,” he said.
“Our opponent didn’t play anything extraordinary, but one loose ball and we are done. We did everything we could, but the players didn’t help the club at all,” he concluded.
Hearts of Oak are without a win in two games with just a point to account for, although they have one outstanding fixture. They next play Karela United at home on Match Week 4.
