Ghanaian international Prince Opoku Agyemang made his debut for Cape Town City FC in their 1-0 win over Maritzburg United in South African Premier League on Wednesday evening.
The 27-year-old came off the bench in 68th minute to replace Tashreeq Morris as he helped his side seal all three points at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
Mdu Mdantsane scored the only goal of the game in the 10th minute.
The win moves Cape Town City FC to 4th on the league table with four points after two matches played thus far.
Agyemang joined the South African side from Medeama SC on a season-long loan deal.
He was a key cog of the Tarkwa-based side in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season where he scored 11 goals and provided there assists in 14 games.
He joined the Yellow and Mauves prior to start of last season following an impressive campaign in the Ghana second-tier with New Edubiase United FC.
Agyemang was part of the Black Stars B team that finished runners-up at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal.
