Nana Coker reveals how George Abege and two other players joined Kotoko

Former Asante Kotoko management member, Nana Gyambibi Coker has revealed how George Abege, Adingra Mussa and Alex Didi Arnold got their way into the porcupine warriors.

The trio who joined the Kumasi based club in 2019 and failed to live up to expectations. They were axed from the team.

Following the acquisition of those players, some management members at the time was fingered to have played major roles in securing the services of the said players.

But according to the former General Manager of the porcupine warriors, the arrival of aforementioned players was the recommendation of the coach, Kjetil Zachariassen.

"I can vouch that Adingra Moussa and Alexis Didi Arnold were brought to Kotoko by Coach Kjetil Zachariassen but not any member of our management," he told Otec FM.

"I was told that George Abege was recommended by a technical person before the management went for him. None of the players in Kotoko were brought by a management member" He added

"Emmanuel Keyekeh who has finally arrived in Kotoko was a player the coach (Maxwell Konadu) asked us to get him. We relied on Maxwell Konadu for the recruitment of players when he was not even the head coach" He added

"We had Ebenezer Sefah (Coach Eben) who also made some recommendations for us. So there was no management member who brought in any player" he concluded.
