Ghana forward John Antwi and his Pyramids FC side made history on Tuesday when they booked their place in the finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The highly-rated striker was in action for the Egyptian club on the day when they locked horns with Guinean outfit AC Horoya in the semi-finals of the CAF inter-club competition.
In a game played in Morocco, Pyramids FC played very well and fought with their all to ensure they cruised to a thumping 2-0 win against the opponent.
As a result of the win, the club has booked a place in the finals of the 2019/2020 CAF Confederations Cup.
It becomes a big feat in the history of the club as their first-ever appearance in a continental cup final.
Set to come up against Morocco’s Renaissance Berkane, John Antwi and his Pyramids FC teammates will hope to take it a step further to grab their first-ever continental silverware.
