CK Akonnor is eyeing a good start as Blak Stars coach in his first competitive game.
The Black Stars will host Sudan in the 2022 African up of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers on November 12 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The 46-year-old who replaced Kwesi Appiah on a two-year deal played his first two games in a friendly against Mali and Qatar will play his first competitive game against the Sudanese counterparts.
Akonnor will name his 23 man squad for the game today.
Ghana, a four-times African Champions have recorded a win in their first two games against South Africa and Sao Tome.
Akonnor, who was the assistant to Kwesi Appiah in the last two qualifying games will be hoping to hit the grounds running in his first game.
The former Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC trainer has been tasked to win the next edition of the African Cup of Nations which will be staged in Cameroon.
