Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko could be dealt with a massive blow as they are on the verge of losing Christopher Nettey to an European club.
Nettey joined the porcupine warriors from Attram de Visser Soccer Academy owned by former Ghanaian International, Godwin Attram in 2019 and had a scintillating performance in the truncated Ghana Premier League season.
According to local portal Kickgh.com, the highly-rated right-back, Christopher Nettey will leave Ghana in the coming days for a trial as he draw interest from top clubs in Belgium, Portugal, and Netherlands.
The report further indicates that, the talented defender was only waiting for the Government of Ghana to lift the ban on travelling for him to go for the trials to see if he will secure a permanent contract.
With government lifting ban on ports, it is believed the player will leave the country as his Manager; Godwin Attram is seriously pushing the deal for the player to seek greater pastures.
However, if the deal goes through, the Kumasi based club will gain nothing since the Management of the Ghanaian giants is yet to pay the Signing-on-fee to the former club of the player.
